Or you can buy two one-way single ride ABC (zone) tickets using the machine for 3.80€ each. Please note that the 24 hours, single day ticket is punched in one of the red or yellow punch boxes adjacent to the ticket selling booth before you board the train.

Also please don’t forget that in case you bought 2, single trip ABC tickets, then on your first journey, use the ticket on the first station and use the other ticket in the second, on your next journey back.

If you want to get to Sachsenhausen even more quickly, you can go on the Regional Train/Regio (RE5) going in the northern direction towards the city of Rostock. It departs once per hour and it will take you to Oranienburg a few minutes more but there are also restrooms on the train.

After getting to Oranienburg you might take 804 AUT for Malz in the direction of Gedenkstätte Sachsenhausen/Memorial Sachsenhausen. It takes 7-8 minutes bus ride or you can decide to walk 20 minutes to the camp. If you wanted to walk there then you would have to come out of the station then turn right down Stralsunderstr.

Keep on walking for about five to six minutes and you will Bernauerstr., and you need to proceed to the right. You need to use Bernauerstr. for an additional 6-7 minutes until Strasse der Einheit is visible to your right; Turn left here, walk on Strasse der Einheit until you reach Strasse der Nationen, then turn right and take the street all the way to the end, and you are there.
